NYI's longevity as an Internet solutions provider guarantees invaluable input into complex managed and unmanaged hosting solutions as well as infrastructure design. Along with its partners, NYI will be able to put together a comprehensive proposal for even the most detailed requests. The fastest way to process your request is to use our order center. If you have a pre written document and want to email to us, please email rfp@nyi.net with your detailed RFP and we will start processing it immediately.

An RFP/RFQ is a standard tool used by governments and businesses to purchase equipment and services by promoting competitive proposals among providers that offer a wide array of potential solutions and prices and compete with one another to win the business. Buyers evaluate the many different provider solutions and pick the one that most closely fits their needs and budgets.

The RFP becomes a vehicle that allows both the buyer and the provider to establish a dialogue and to work from the same set of rules, requirements, schedules, and information. The opportunity to have this dialogue is an important element in the process, because RFP requirements are often not clear and the provider, as the expert on the particular product or service, is allowed to question and interpret what is being requested. Conversely, the buyer has the opportunity to clarify issues in provider proposals.

Be sure to include enough information in the form of storyboards, manuals, videos, overheads, training guides, et cetera, so that we have a good sense for what your project entails. Be clear about what you expect out of NYI in terms of management of your solution and what you intend to do yourself our outsource to other firms.

Send out your RFP eight to ten weeks before your requested submission date. Writing a detailed proposal takes time; NYI is determined to take the time to think about and respond to your request for proposals in a detailed fashion with accurate pricing information.

Avail yourself to answer questions about what you want. Make sure to include adequate contact information so that we can contact you during the proposal writing process
