More and more organizations are in the process of adopting the hybrid cloud in order to obtain a stronger IT management solution for their businesses.
Based on a recent survey conducted by Averre Systems:
- Fifty eight percent of those who attended the 2014 Cloud Expo New York are in the process of building hybrid clouds for their companies.
- The same 58% also noted plans to migrate traditional applications to the cloud over the next two years.
- Twenty-six percent of these cloud adoptions are being driven by top level executives.
- Twenty-two percent of these cloud adoptions are also powered by IT data management teams who better understand the technical aspects behind their adoption.
The above survey results alone indicate additional evidence that hybrid cloud – a mix of cloud and on-premise for mission critical applications – is presently regarded as the way to move forward for not only small businesses, but for the overall enterprise market.
Perhaps what stands out most to the organizations making the decision to try out hybrid cloud: it is important to learn about, try out and make the best use out of these types of solutions in order to remain competitive in their industries.
Cloud Computing News also reported that many different large tech companies are using the hybrid cloud in order to manage several of their hosting services. The hybrid cloud allows these companies to obtain different ideas of exactly what they will get out of the cloud, and learn exactly how the cloud can best help their business.
The beauty of the hybrid cloud is that it’s all about mixing and matching to best suit businesses’ needs. The hybrid cloud model is efficient, allowing companies to mix and match resources between local (private) infrastructure and an infrastructure that is public, scalable and provisioned on demand.
Those who embark on the chance to transform their businesses will have the most efficient use of cloud computing. Those who explore all of the benefits that hybrid cloud can offer businesses of all types and sizes are sure to advance the most in today’s competitive business environment.
