Connectivity in the Age of AI
With the rise of AI and other compute intensive technologies, we are seeing that NYI’s core mission to facilitate connectivity is more critical than ever.
In a recent Data Center Dynamics Broadcast: 2025 Trends and Outlooks: Connectivity and Networks, NYI Co-Founder and COO Phillip Koblence highlighted the fact that while there is a great deal of industry focus on power as a requirement for meeting the demands of next gen applications, success requires an integrated approach in which the industry solves for power and connectivity together. Watch the broadcast on demand for further insights from Phillip and other industry leaders.
Update on 60 Hudson Street Operations
We were delighted to welcome new clients at our 60 Hudson Street facilities in 2024, both at NYI-NY2 and NYI-QTD (formerly Equinix NY8). Enterprise businesses and international companies looking for low-latency connectivity are drawn to our strategic New York City location and the exceptional connectivity options we provide, both within and beyond 60 Hudson Street.
Our growing in-building interconnection ecosystem includes Internet Exchanges, Software Defined Networks (SDNs) and Cloud On-ramps and our regional metro connectivity capabilities connect 60 Hudson with key interconnection points, providing clients with access to a powerful, comprehensive interconnection offering.
Addition to NYI Staff @ 60 Hudson
We are delighted to announce a new team member who will help NYI continue to deliver innovative solutions for our customers: Ta’mar Bowman is a skilled Data Center Engineer who joined NYI in October. He brings valuable expertise in racking and stacking, as well as server troubleshooting. His technical acumen and hands-on approach make him a key contributor to our team’s success.

Update on the Nomad Futurist Foundation
The Nomad Futurist Foundation and the Infrastructure Masons organization formed a strategic alliance in September – this is exciting news for the future of the digital infrastructure industry!
Nomad Futurist was co-founded by NYI COO Phillip Koblence and Nabeel Mahmood to raise awareness of the industry and inspire future generations. Infrastructure Masons was founded by Dean Nelson to create a better digital future for all. The collaboration will act as a force-multiplier in terms of reach and impact of joint educational initiatives, and will help address the industry’s significant talent gap. See the Press Release.
