NEW YORK, NY October 17, 2011—NYI, New York’s premier data center solutions provider, has teamed with the New York Technology Council for “The Tablet Revolution,” an evening event, Tuesday, Oct. 18 that looks at how tablet computing will continue to transform the business and cultural landscape. Topics will include Amazon’s entry into the tablet market with the Kindle Fire and Apple’s recent upgrade of the iPad OS.
“This is going to be a great event,” said Phillip Koblence, VP Operations, NYI. “As a company that has worked with numerous magazine publishers, we look forward to help usher in the new multiplatform world. With the assistance of NY Tech Council, we like to think of this event as a gathering of New York’s brightest technologists, publishing industry executives, analysts and other stakeholders.”
“NYI has been a great partner, ” said Donn Morrill, Executive Director, New York Technology Council. “Because they are a quintessentially New York company with an insider’s understanding of media combined with the passion of a tech startup, they have been invaluable in assembling our panel. We hope that both members and non-members will be able to attend.”
